Day 1 Flight to Rome

You will be transferred from your school to your departure airport and your flight to Rome. You will have a brief Italian language lesson with our representative in the evening.

Day 2 - Sightseeing tour of Rome

Today you will have a sightseeing tour of the city taking in many attractions such as: The Colosseum Roma time elevator, which presents a multi-sensory journey through the history of Rome Piazza Navona Trevi Fountain Roman forum Pantheon Monument of Vittorio Emanuele II Spanish

Day 3 - Tour of the Vatican City

Today you will enjoy a full tour of the Vatican City: St Peters Square, The Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, The Catacombs and the ancient underground cemeteries.

Day 4 - Audience with Pope Benedict XVI (subject to confirmation)

Today you will have an early start for the Vatican and an audience with the Pope Benedict XVI (subject to confirmation) after which further sightseeing and perhaps some shopping at Cola Di Rienzo, a very popular street with several stores and boutiques. For your last evening in Rome we have arranged and optional pizza and ice cream evening at a traditional Italian restaurant in the beautiful Travestere district of the city.

Day 5 Return flight from Rome

Today you will be transferred to Rome airport for your flight to the UK. You will then be transferred by coach from the airport to your school.
