Today the cold war and the iconic events of November 1989, which saw the Berlin Wall torn to pieces by those whom it had oppressed for so long are starting to seem like a distant memory.

Day 1 - Flight to Berlin

You will be transferred from your school to your departure airport for your flight to Berlin.

Day 2 - Visit the Brandenburg Gate, Check Point Charlie and the Reichstag

Today you will be met by your guide for your full day city tour of Berlin taking in famous sights such as: The Brandenburg Gate, Check Point Charlie You will be dropped off near the Reichstag at approx 2pm to enjoy lunch. After lunch you will be able to enter the Reichstag on your own accord, spending as much time as you wish before returning to your hotel in the late afternoon. You have the option of an evening at a local bowling alley.

Day 3 - Visit Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp and world heritage listed city Potsdam

Today you will visit Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp located just an hour and thirty minutes away. Afterwards, you will continue to the world heritage listed city Potsdam with the famous castle, the former summer residence of the Prussian Kings, of which you will enjoy a tour before returning to Berlin.

Day 4 - Visit the Story of Berlin Museum or the Berlin High Flyer

Today you will visit the Story of Berlin Museum for approximately 2 hours. In the afternoon there is an optional excursion to the Berlin High Flyer, located in Ebertstrabe close to Potsdamer Platz. If the wind is fairly calm the helium balloon shoots 150m (480 feet) up in the air, giving fantastic views of Berlin. This evening you have the option of an evening meal at The Hard Rock Cafe.

Day 5 - Visit Kafurstendam Strasse in Berlin and return to UK

Today you will have the morning at leisure and to enjoy Kafurstendam Strasse and an opportunity for some last minute shopping before your coach transfer to the airport and your direct flight home to the UK where you will be transferred by coach to your school for the early evening.
